I never planned on working for grumpy, billionaire boss Matthew Cohen for more than eight months.
Matthew is a tyrant of a boss, rude, angry, cruel, and just a grump with the capital "G."

We used to be friends, but that was a long time ago.
In my defense, I thought our past would make a difference.
I thought all those stories of people he fired wouldn't happen to me.

I thought wrong.
Now the building is under an emergency threat.
I am under lockdown with him.

I should be afraid, angry, and distressed.
But all I can feel are my inhibitions reacting to his calm, controlling demeanor.
Oh, how I wish there were warning signs for times like these.
