My name’s Charlie, and I have a problem.
It all began last year when I traveled the globe to track down a mysterious stewardess who’d left a diary in my carry-on. After a few hiccups, I finally found her: a gorgeous, curvaceous brunette named Sophia.
But instead of taming my obsession, meeting her in person (and getting to know her girlfriend intimately) has only increased the magnitude of my addiction. Now, instead of being haunted by my desire for Sophia, I’m obsessed with both Sophia and her partner, Virginia.
My real problem stems from the fact that these two special ladies want to add a man to their existing relationship. I’ve never tried any kind of polyamorous setup before—save for the occasional threesomes that only lasted a few hours at best—but my ladies’ offer is very enticing. I’d even go as far as to say it’s the most attractive I’ve had over the past four decades. (And, sure. I’ve been told my misogynistic tendencies tend to flare up from time to time, so perhaps that’s just a case in point, but I believe most hetero men would at least be curious. Please don’t blame me for giving it a go, especially when Sophia and Virginia are as beautiful, talented, smart, and sexy as they are.)
Armed with their diaries, I’m ready to learn everything possible to achieve my goal. Join me as I discover what happened to my two favorite ladies over the past year and watch me charm my way into their hearts.
Well, at least that’s the plan.
I can’t guarantee I’ll succeed, but I’ll give it my all. That is a promise.
The Diary Obsession is an episodic novel that records my tales of obsession with Sophia and Virginia, presented in short, novella-length episodes. The first episode (The Transition) bridges the gap between last season (another episodic novel called The Stewardess’s Diary) and my current situation. It explains how Sophia’s diary made it into my carry-on and how this whole obsession started. It also brings you back to the present when I touch base with Virginia again.
If you like your erotic romance with a good serving of mystery, action, and humor, and if you’re comfortable with explicit scenes that break hetero bounds (most of them being of the FFM variety), then you’ll love this episodic novel about me and my obsession with two gorgeous women.
(I won’t tell if you won’t.)
It was supposed to be an exploratory mission, and it was... Just not the kind she expected.
Dr. Sylvia Cohen, MIT's premiere astrobiologist has been chosen for a follow-up mission to Zanthar, a planet showing the promise of Life. Leaving little behind on earth, she sustains a crash landing on the large seaweed planet and encounters far more than the micro-organisms discovered years earlier.
The Supreme Regent of Zanthar has a natural affinity for human females and finds himself quite taken with the lovely doctor, but war stands at their door. His determination of her innocence or guilt will change the future for both of them. He will test her in many ways, finding himself wanting her to succeed more and more each time.
Sylvia determines that science can explain most anything, but matters of the heart are forever a mystery.

I didn’t do it.
I never betrayed my friend.
Last year, I was kidnapped along with presidential candidate’s daughter Lindsay Bosworth, forced to help her assailants, my mother implicated in one of the biggest political scandals in American history.
I've been cleared of any wrongdoing, but that doesn’t matter. Once you’re tried by the media, you’re guilty as sin. The truth doesn’t get the public’s attention.
But shame? Shame sells.
And everyone assumes you’re tainted.
Now I have my own personal security team, courtesy of the United States government. Not the one you learned about in civics class, though.
I’m being tracked by the deep state. The shadow government. They’ve assigned Silas Gentian to be with me twenty-four seven. He thinks he knows everything about me – all of it bad -- and he does.
On paper.
Like everyone else, he assumes I’m a traitor. A backstabber. A betrayer. Someone who helped a group of violent psychopaths, puppets of powerful men in Washington who made me into a tool.
Yet I see how he looks at me. True desire can’t be faked.
Or hidden.
And that goes both ways.
He assumes I’m trying to fool him.
And he might be right.
But not for the reasons he thinks.

Simon has a mission of his own.

Suzie Hart is back in Harbor Falls after her television debut in New York. She and her cousin, Sydney, have a number of catering gigs lined up. She'd love to fix Sydney up with a date but when this new guy starts hanging around the bakery, her radar goes up. This guy is definitely not on Suzie's matchmaking list. Sydney, however, has other ideas.
High tea or sweet tea? As long as there are scones, it doesn't matter. In fact, Suzie's cousin Sydney Hart, owner of Sydney's Sugar High Bakery, makes the best damn scones east of the Mississippi and south of the Mason Dixon, and there was an article written in Southern's Best magazine to prove it. All is well and life is good, until a mysterious stranger comes to town, stalking Sydney's scones, and attempting to romance her out of her famous recipe.
Stone Kellerman isn't above romancing the scone recipe out of Ms. Sydney Hart. Although he has to admit he finds the woman attractive, and she appeals to him on a certain level, her scone recipe is what he is after. Her Double Orange Scone of Sinful Decadent Desire is among the best he has ever tasted. No wonder she stole the Best Scones of the South title from him. Stone's Scones of Atlanta had heralded that title for several years.
But hanging around her bakery shifts his priority from recipe to the baker. He's intrigued with the lovely pastry chef and finds himself tangled in his own plot to finagle her winning recipe away from her.
But will Stone romance Sydney out of more than her scone recipe?
Magic, treachery, and corruption await in these cloak and dagger thrills.

An electrifying debut novel about the extraordinary bond between two girls driven apart by circumstance but relentless in their search for one another.
Poornima and Savitha have three strikes against them: they are poor, they are ambitious, and they are girls. After her mother’s death, Poornima has very little kindness in her life. She is left to care for her siblings until her father can find her a suitable match. So when Savitha enters their household, Poornima is intrigued by the joyful, independent-minded girl. Suddenly their Indian village doesn't feel quite so claustrophobic, and Poornima begins to imagine a life beyond arranged marriage. But when a devastating act of cruelty drives Savitha away, Poornima leaves behind everything she has ever known to find her friend.
Her journey takes her into the darkest corners of India's underworld, on a harrowing cross-continental journey, and eventually to an apartment complex in Seattle. Alternating between the girls’ perspectives as they face ruthless obstacles, Girls Burn Brighter introduces two heroines who never lose the hope that burns within.

Plagued by nightmares, he abandons the Patrol for civilian life. But when an immigrant friend travels to Mexico to visit his dying mother and does not return, Cantú discovers that the border has migrated with him, and now he must know the whole story. Searing and unforgettable, The Line Becomes a River goes behind the headlines, making urgent and personal the violence our border wreaks on both sides of the line
“Absorbing . . . Though it's non-fiction, The Feather Thief contains many of the elements of a classic thriller.” —Maureen Corrigan, NPR’s Fresh Air
“One of the most peculiar and memorable true-crime books ever.” —Christian Science Monitor
A rollicking true-crime adventure and a captivating journey into an underground world of fanatical fly-tiers and plume peddlers, for readers of The Stranger in the Woods, The Lost City of Z, and The Orchid Thief.
On a cool June evening in 2009, after performing a concert at London's Royal Academy of Music, twenty-year-old American flautist Edwin Rist boarded a train for a suburban outpost of the British Museum of Natural History. Home to one of the largest ornithological collections in the world, the Tring museum was full of rare bird specimens whose gorgeous feathers were worth staggering amounts of money to the men who shared Edwin's obsession: the Victorian art of salmon fly-tying. Once inside the museum, the champion fly-tier grabbed hundreds of bird skins—some collected 150 years earlier by a contemporary of Darwin's, Alfred Russel Wallace, who'd risked everything to gather them—and escaped into the darkness.
Two years later, Kirk Wallace Johnson was waist high in a river in northern New Mexico when his fly-fishing guide told him about the heist. He was soon consumed by the strange case of the feather thief. What would possess a person to steal dead birds? Had Edwin paid the price for his crime? What became of the missing skins? In his search for answers, Johnson was catapulted into a years-long, worldwide investigation. The gripping story of a bizarre and shocking crime, and one man's relentless pursuit of justice, The Feather Thief is also a fascinating exploration of obsession, and man's destructive instinct to harvest the beauty of nature.
Eleven Rooms. Ten Bodies. One Empty Grave.
Brandon Fisher never expected this when he signed up as a Special Agent for the FBI. Working in the shadow of Supervisory Special Agent Jack Harper of the Behavioral Analysis Unit his career seemed set. But when the team is called to a small rural town where the remains of ten victims are found in an underground bunker, buried in an unusual way, Brandon knows he'll never return to his normal life.
With one empty grave, and the case touching close to home, he fears he's become the target of a psychotic serial killer who wants to make him number eleven. Only thing is, everything Brandon thinks he knows is far from the truth.
My best friend is freaking awesome.
But don't just take my word for it. Consider all his attributes.
First, let's start with the obvious one.
Size.
He has this one fantastic bone in his body. It's bigger than other guys'. It's thicker, longer, more powerful.
C'mon. I'm talking about his funny bone.
Spencer Holiday makes me laugh like no one ever has. Sarcastic, self-deprecating, and always at attention with a joke--that's him.
Except, it's no joke when he asks me to be his fake fianceé for a week.
The trouble is I'm already falling for him before we even start.
Oops.

Skinny, nine-year-old orphaned Dores is working in the kitchen of a sugar plantation in 1930s Brazil when in walks a girl who changes everything. Graça, the spoiled daughter of a wealthy sugar baron, is clever, well fed, pretty, and thrillingly ill behaved. Born to wildly different worlds, Dores and Graça quickly bond over shared mischief, and then, on a deeper level, over music.
One has a voice like a songbird; the other feels melodies in her soul and composes lyrics to match. Music will become their shared passion, the source of their partnership and their rivalry, and for each, the only way out of the life to which each was born. But only one of the two is destined to be a star. Their intimate, volatile bond will determine each of their fortunes--and haunt their memories.
Traveling from Brazil's inland sugar plantations to the rowdy streets of Rio de Janeiro's famous Lapa neighborhood, from Los Angeles during the Golden Age of Hollywood back to the irresistible drumbeat of home, The Air You Breathe unfurls a moving portrait of a lifelong friendship--its unparalleled rewards and lasting losses--and considers what we owe to the relationships that shape our lives.

Something is seriously wrong with the economy, the financial system and ultimately, our way of life. You’re probably reading this because, well, you feel the same way.
Perhaps you’re worried about one specific scenario (the death of the banking system, hyperinflation or something else) but then again, maybe you’re not able to identify specific threats. Instead, you just feel “something” is wrong. You feel it deep down inside and it haunts you.
Rightfully so, in my opinion!
The Age of Anomaly is here to provide much-needed clarity. My name is Andrei Polgar but a lot of you might know me as “the One Minute Economics guy on YouTube” and I’ve never been an economist who desperately wants to sound intelligent.
Instead, through my work, I’ve had one goal and one goal only: making economics easy to understand, something traditional education has failed at remarkably. As time passes, my work is featured in more and more universities all over the world. Students love it, people who already graduated feel the same way and even those who aren’t necessarily interested in economics become fascinated by this often misunderstood but amazing field.
Why do people like what I do?
For one simple reason: because it works.
Through The Age of Anomaly, I’ve made it clear that understanding financial calamities and being prepared doesn’t have to involve rocket science. Anyone can do it and frankly, everyone should do it.
I’ve provided a “from A to Z” perspective by:
1) Analyzing quite a few hand-picked economic calamities of the past, from the Tulip Mania to the Great Depression, the Great Recession and even case studies pretty much nobody heard of such as the Short Domain Mania of 2015-2016
2) Drawing parallels and finding common denominators so as to provide tips that help readers become better and better at spotting financial storms
3) Explaining that becoming better at spotting financial storms is just not enough. Even I may very well end up being caught off-guard by the next crash and as such, it makes sense to dedicate just at much energy to becoming more resilient in general so as to better withstand anything life throws your way
By becoming good at spotting financial storms as well as resilient, you’ll be multiple orders of magnitude (and I consider even this the understatement of the century) better off than the average individual, who blissfully chooses to live in a bubble of ignorance!
Included are the first three books in the Malveaux Mystery series.
Dog Days of Voodoo:
Absolutely nothing stands between a woman and her beloved dog… not even the malevolent force of a voodoo curse.
Kendell Summer, lead guitarist for Polly Urethane and the Strippers, has always been interested in the unexplained. So when she sets off on a paranormal research romp with Myles, a former classmate, to explore his skills in psychometry, she’s ready for a little adventure. But she gets more than she bargained for when her Lhasa apso, Cheesecake, is dognapped. Kendell will do whatever it takes to get her dog back.
While rescuing the pup, Kendell and Myles learn that the touristy glitz of New Orleans’ voodoo shops hides a dark history few understand—a truth that some in the city plan to use for their own gain.
Soon they uncover more than they ever wanted to know about New Orleans’ unsavory past and a curse that threatens to change everything. Only Kendell can prevent the evil they’ve uncovered from doing more damage, but she’ll need Myles’s support and psychometric abilities—and the vigilance of the ever-watchful Cheesecake.
You, Me, and the Voodoo Queen:
Kendell Summer just can’t catch a break. All she wants is one good passionate kiss from her paranormal partner, Myles, but in the midst of their embrace, she hears a distress message coming from a passing paddle wheeler. Her band, Polly Urethane and the Strippers, is in trouble. Once again, she must drop everything and rush to the rescue while relying on Myles to have her back.
Unfortunately, the events that unfold while she’s saving her friends only plunge her deeper into the dreaded Malveaux curse and threaten Myles with a fate worse than death.
Oops! I Voodooed Again:
Kendell will need everyone she trusts, including her loyal dog, Cheesecake, to help her save his soul.
Every time Kendell Summer thinks she has finally apprehended her ancestor, Baron Malveaux, the dastardly spirit slips from her grasp. His being freed from the voodoo totem to rejoin the living creates unprecedented dangers—too many for Kendell to face alone, causing her to turn to her newly discovered Wiccan counterpart, Sanguine Delarosa, for help.
Sanguine, however, comes with her own challenges. Acting more like a bratty younger sister than an accomplished swamp witch, Sanguine has her own secret agenda. And once again Kendell, her boyfriend, and her faithful pooch, Cheesecake, end up in harm’s way while fighting for humanity’s greater good.
But Sanguine is the key—if there is any hope of preventing a war between the living and the dead, Kendell and Sanguine must find a way to trust each other and work together.
