Definition of the "Science Fiction Genre": The focus of this subgenre of fiction is science and technology, especially as they will possibly exist in a future time. Some of the typical aspects of a Science Fiction ebook are time travel, future worlds with technology that may not even be contemplated at this point, aliens and other life forms, and travelling in space. What separates the Science Fiction subgenre from the Fantasy subgenre of fiction is that the imagined or invented elements of a Science Fiction novel typically have more of a probability of existing. They are based upon scientific principles, not principles of magic.
Some examples of bestselling ebooks in the Science Fiction genre are Frank Herbert (Dune), Isaac Asimov (Foundation), Orson Scott Card (Ender's Game) and George Orwell (1984).
The world's population has been decimated by a pandemic of epic proportions. One small pocket of survivors has been given the opportunity to strike back against those responsible.
In rural Kentucky, one hundred and sixty-one survivors of the apocalyptic Great Rains huddle inside a one-block, walled off section of town: a place they call Outpost.
It has been two years since the toxic rains fell, wiping out most of humanity and leaving the Earth's soil barren, devoid of life. The people of Outpost have managed to survive by working together, scavenging food from empty homes and businesses, guarding one another while they sleep.
They have persevered through their worst nightmare--or so they believed.
A stranger has come to them with a choice: they can come with him and be part of saving the world, but in doing so there is a strong likelihood they'll die. Or they can do nothing and hope some other community has the courage to do what they can't.
They've already suffered greater than they believed was possible, but many of them still want to fight, to join the stranger's cause. Others are skeptical. They don't believe the stranger's story and want nothing to do with furthering their own misery. They like things just the way they are... and they'll fight to keep it that way. Even if that fight is with those they call friend and neighbor.

The Sphere ship appeared suddenly, damaged and dying. After making contact, Earth learned they weren’t alone in the universe. The Sphere gave them knowledge of space travel, and co-ordinates to other races spread across the expanse. It asked them to continue its mission of exploration and contact, but also left them with a stark warning: Stay away from the Star.
Over the next twenty years, the United Earth Foundation formed, and their ships were built, their displacement drives giving them the sphere shape when engaged.

Adopted at age 4, Rose Gardens doesn’t know much about her life before her parents brought her to America. She has vague memories of her time in the small orphanage in the Hunan Province of China. Naturally, that didn’t stop Rose from becoming a superhero.
Life is as close to perfect as Rose could imagine. She has the greatest parents, the perfect boyfriend, and her career as Star Girl has been fairly impressive.
With true love in her grasp, marriage may even be on the horizon for Rose and her boyfriend. But when a new villain tears into Century City, Rose finds her heart unexpectedly torn between the good man she knows she loves and the bad boy she finds herself irresistibly attracted to.

ARENA 1 is book #1 in the Bestselling series The Survival Trilogy, which also includes ARENA 2 and ARENA 3.
New York. 2120. America has been decimated, wiped out from the second Civil War. In this post-apocalyptic world, survivors are far and few between. And most of those who do survive are members of the violent gangs, predators who live in the big cities. They patrol the countryside looking for slaves, for fresh victims to bring back into the city for their favorite death sport: Arena One. The death stadium where opponents are made to fight to the death, in the most barbaric of ways. There is only one rule to the arena: no one survives. Ever.
Deep in the wilderness, high up in the Catskill Mountains, 17 year old Brooke Moore manages to survive, hiding out with her younger sister, Bree. They are careful to avoid the gangs of slaverunners who patrol the countryside. But one day, Brooke is not as careful as she can be, and Bree is captured. The slaverunners take her away, heading to the city, and to what will be a certain death.
Brooke, a Marine’s daughter, was raised to be tough, to never back down from a fight. When her sister is taken, Brooke mobilizes, uses everything at her disposal to chase down the slaverunners and get her sister back. Along the way she runs into Ben, 17, another survivor like her, whose brother was taken. Together, they team up on their rescue mission.
What follows is a post-apocalyptic, action-packed thriller, as the two of them pursue the slaverunners on the most dangerous ride of their lives, following them deep into the heart of New York. Along the way, if they are to survive, they will have to make some of the hardest choices and sacrifices of their lives, encountering obstacles neither of them had expected—including their unexpected feelings for each other. Will they rescue their siblings? Will they make it back? And will they, themselves, have to fight in the arena?
ARENA 2 (Book #2) is now also available, and ARENA 3 (Book #3) is now available for pre-order!
"Addicting...ARENA ONE was one of those books that you read late into the night until your eyes start to cross because you don’t want to put it down."

After the bombs fell and the old world passed away, two sides emerged from the destruction: the Union and the Rebels. For years a great civil war raged, ending in a fragile truce. Now the Lord Marshal of the Union seeks to unite the land, this time using chests of coin rather than bullets.
Dominic was one of the finest Rebel soldiers to grace the battlefield. With the war at an end, he sets off across the Wastes, seeking a new life. But after a violent clash with the Union, he finds himself a reluctant participant in the Lord Marshal’s push for peace. Dominic is paired up with Lerah, an idealistic young soldier with no love for the Rebels. Their unlikely partnership takes them to the most dangerous parts of the Wastes. As tensions mount and blood begins to flow, friends become enemies, and allegiances begin to melt away.
One pill. Countless side effects.
From J.M. Lanham comes a heart-pumping thrill ride that puts a science-fiction twist on the future of medicine, technology, and philosophy.
It’s 2021 and Paul Freeman just landed a job with Asteria Pharmaceuticals, a world leader in revolutionary drug development. Paul knows the company’s future is riding on the success of their latest product – a sleeping pill designed to interact with the human genome to deliver the perfect eight-hour sleep cycle.
Just a few blocks from Asteria’s Atlanta headquarters, troubled self-help guru Donny Ford is selling a different kind of drug, empowering followers to take control of their lives using a sacred meditation technique skeptics believe may have already taken his mind to a dangerous place.
3,000 miles away, war-hardened journalist Claire Connor sits captive in a top-secret facility hidden deep in the Costa Rican jungle, guilty of two offenses: seeking help for a sleep disorder, and asking too many questions.
When these worlds collide, the three will discover just how far some companies are willing to go to protect the bottom line.

The Handmaid’s Tale meets The Hunger Games in this brilliantly imagined debut set in an ancient culture where only the queen may breed and deformity means death.
Flora 717 is a sanitation worker, a member of the lowest caste in her orchard hive where work and sacrifice are the highest virtues and worship of the beloved Queen the only religion. But Flora is not like other bees. With circumstances threatening the hive’s survival, her curiosity is regarded as a dangerous flaw but her courage and strength are an asset. She is allowed to feed the newborns in the royal nursery and then to become a forager, flying alone and free to collect pollen. She also finds her way into the Queen’s inner sanctum, where she discovers mysteries about the hive that are both profound and ominous.
But when Flora breaks the most sacred law of all—daring to challenge the Queen’s fertility—enemies abound, from the fearsome fertility police who enforce the strict social hierarchy to the high priestesses jealously wedded to power. Her deepest instincts to serve and sacrifice are now overshadowed by an even deeper desire, a fierce maternal love that will bring her into conflict with her conscience, her heart, her society—and lead her to unthinkable deeds.
Thrilling, suspenseful and spectacularly imaginative, The Bees gives us a dazzling young heroine and will change forever the way you look at the world outside your window.
When the Curiosity rover uncovers a human skull buried beneath the surface of Mars, humankind is faced with one of the most challenging and troubling enigmas it has ever encountered. The brilliant but arrogant physicist James Carpenter is put in charge of the investigation and will stop at nothing to find the truth. However, pitfalls abound because in the universe of Vastitas, nothing is what it seems and the very logic of space and time is questioned.
Two hundred years in the future, astronaut Daniel Novikov has his own problems to deal with. After a worldwide conspiracy leaves the human race struggling to survive, Daniel comes to the realization that only he has the knowledge needed to avert disaster. But no amount of experience could have prepared him for what he encounters in outer space.
The two men, separated by hundreds of years, race against the clock in this engaging science fiction thriller that challenges us to ask ourselves two questions:
Who are we and what are we doing here?

When private investigators Kurt Desmond and Cassie Atwood find 10,000-year-old cave paintings hinting at human civilization’s shocking origins, they're immediately thrust into the middle of a millennia-old conspiracy. But these secrets aren’t meant for their eyes, and as the pair pursue the truth, they discover that exposing the actual story of humanity's origins might also lead to its destruction.
Out of options, and with the walls closing in from all sides, Kurt and Cassie must ally with those who have hidden the truth in order to save the world from those who want to expose it any cost.
During an age of dwindling energy resources and greedy corporate expansion, Earth receives a warning from a not too distant star system: We are aware of your existence. We will end you.
The colossal mining vessel Ambition undergoes a militarized refit and is sent to confront the alien threat of Pegasi 51. Catastrophic events along the way stretch a seventy year voyage into a seven century odyssey. All communication to and from home has been severed, and the civilization waiting ahead has remained ominously silent.
Captain Ly Sulafat, Ambition's 30th - and likely last - commander, leads this final generation of weary travelers into a hostile star system, ill-prepared, and far too inexperienced to confront what awaits them.
The seven hundred year journey has ended. Time for war.
