Definition of the "Fantasy Genre": As alluded to above, the primary components of bestselling Fantasy ebooks are the creation of a rich and expansive other world. While those other worlds can have aspects similar to our reality, the less so, the better. Ebooks in the Fantasy genre also use magic commonly, and include magical creatures in their plot lines. Perhaps one of the most important technical elements of a Fantasy ebook is that while the rules in the other world created by the author may not work in our reality, they are internally consistent to the story itself.
Some examples of bestselling Fantasy ebooks are George R.R. Martin (Game of Thrones), J.R.R. Tolkien (Lord of the Rings), Brandon Sanderson (The Way of Kings), and Piers Anthony (his entire Xanth series). And, you know what? We are going to throw the movie The Neverending Story in here, because it had a book in it after all, and it's a premier example of fantasy.
When demons refuse to play by the rules, all Hell will break loose.

The rules are being broken and they're powerless against some of the greatest forces Hell can assemble. Her boring temple life screeches to a halt when visions of her parents' murders consume her. Yssa races across an ocean to stop the future. If she can't change Fate, she'll refuse to be the Phoenix Prophetess any longer. Fate, however, has other plans for her and the kingdom.

Ezra Keene is an artistic sixteen-year-old who wants nothing more than to settle in at his new school and put the tragedy of his brother’s death behind him. He awakens one night, reeling from a hazy dream, to find his fingers blackened with pencil lead and a new drawing in his sketchbook—a drawing that depicts the grisly murder of someone he knows. The next morning he is shocked to learn the picture has become a reality.
Ezra has reason to believe the father of a classmate, an eccentric German scientist, is somehow involved in the slaying, but he needs something tangible to bring to the police. He sets out to discover the truth, but what he finds instead is that something much more sinister than murder lies at the heart of this mystery. Monsters exist, magic is real, and sometimes there are worse things than death.
The Coincidence Makers tells the story of Guy, Emily & Eric, whose job is creating coincidences and initiating various events in other people's lives.
The three graduated from a “coincidence creation course” that took place 2 years prior to the events in the book, in which they learned techniques for creating what look like random events which will cause people to change their own lives. Fate is nothing more than a well-executed mission.
Coincidence Makers are not regular people. They are responsible for organizing random encounters between lovers-to-be, creating moments of inspiration that help people make life changing decisions or “building” coincidences that cause important scientific discoveries.
But when Guy gets a new special mission, that mission, along with a mysterious killer that appears in town and other hidden forces that he is not aware of, are going to change everything for the three coincidence makers and teach them about fate, free will & the true nature of love.

No moon maiden should bear a child aboard the House of Sin and Silk, yet a child who shouldn’t be grows in Mara’s belly. On the eve of Harvest Festival, fate pushes Mara on a course that will test her strength, her courage, and her love. A woman who knows nothing but her gilded, floating cage will journey through a city where an ancient darkness rises against the dying light. Author Jeff Powell wakes up to find the impossible has happened. He is within his own novel—summoned into the fictional world of Feldall’s Keep by a spell he didn't write. One the House enchantress hasn't figured out how to reverse.
When the villain he's been struggling to write reveals himself, unleashing waves of terror and chaos, Jeff must use more than his imagination to save the characters he created—and the woman he loves.
Trapped within a world of his own creation, he must step outside the bounds of his narrative to help his characters defeat an evil no one anticipated, even if he must sacrifice his greatest gift. In the end, he has to ask: are novels really fiction, or windows into other worlds?
The Meratis Trilogy centres around author Jeff Powell, who wakes up in his sword-and-sorcery fantasy world. Initially an arrogant and close-minded character, Jeff has his eyes opened to a world of dragons, magic, and assassins. Faced with an evil he could never have imagined, Jeff is pushed to his limits and forced to rise to the most unusual challenges.
